Jansen, you clearly have no basketball knowledge. mac hasnt taken as many shots lately and he is his teams shooting guard. How many shooting guards in the league are shooting 50%? Probably one or two. Shootings guards most be agressive because they are most likely the only player on their team that can create their own shot which is greatness. When they use that greatness, other defenders slide over which free up players that cant create their own shot. What I wanna ask you is something you probably remember now. You see I just got done reading an ESPN article about an alcoholic now and is dead at the age of 27 but used to have so much hype when he was playing in high school 12 years ago and was said to be next to Elton Brand among the top big men in that class. The man I am talking about is James Felton. If he didn’t exist, you may have not arrived and been put on the map. I’ve read about the dunk that you put on him. They say that it was one of the best dunks ever and in the article I just finished reading Lamar Odom said that it was one of the best moments he ever witnessed. From this article it seems that you guys traded lives when you embarrassed Mr. Felton in that basketball camp. I’m glad that happened because if that moment didn’t take place, you might have not blossomed and became my favorite player today. You’ve been my favorite player ever since you came into the league. I was watching when you scored 62 against Washington, when you got traded to Orlando and Houston (Houston Rockets are my favorite team now), when you scored 13 points in 35 seconds against the San Antonio Spurs, even when you made me jump out of my seat in the playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks from that dunk you handed to Shawn Bradley and I personally think that was the best dunk in NBA Playoff history.

So right now I have 2 questions I want to ask and please reply to this if you can. How did you feel when you dunked on James Felton and is there any footage of this dunk because if you know where to find footage I would like to see the moment where my favorite player, Tracy Mcgrady, became “T-Mac.”

This is what I know and I would like you to take this to the heart . You are one of the greatest players in the NBA every year but is 0-6 in the first round of the payoffs. You know you have the potential to do whatever you want in the playoffs by scoring so many points but sometimes you score too much. T-mac, i’m a die hard houston rockets fan. I’ve been through thick and thin with the Rockets. Whether it was the tough game 7 loss against Dallas in ’05, the injury filled season in 06, or the should-of-won series vs. Utah. Now a days, i feel like you are a different player. You aren’t the highlight reel that scored his way through wins. I see a more mature T-mac. A T-mac that is doing it now with the team, and 6 assists a game as a result. I believe that you know your position with the Rockets. Now you have a great supporting cast (Yao, Alston, Battier, Scola), and you know where to find them on the court. I believe you are now a smarter player, and the wise leader on the team that the young rookies go to. I respect you T-mac, and even if we have a short playoff run, I will be ready to watch you and company for next year.
